When I curated my first large scale Nancarrow event in London in 2012, I was given a music box kit which include paper strips for punching your own music. Years later in 2016 I finally wrote a piece called 'The Never Ending Tango' that works in a loop as a present for my Mum, built a sound box for it to live on and made a short film of it one wintery morning in Deptford.
