The Chatterbox was commissioned by Dartington Summer School in 2012. I was teaching a course on sonic art and created this bench for the participants music to 'live in' for the rest of the summer. It was positioned under the eves of the Summer House in the gardens with a fantastic view of Valley Field. Clad with cedar, it was weatherproof and housed a fantastic Genelec speaker system. Low frequecies were felt as much as heard.
